Flexible and robust units that provide an interface point for a range of devices such as audio amplifiers and speakers, InfoPoints ⁄ Help Phones, SCADA monitoring systems, and LED Displays.

The units control and manage system audio output – decoding Long Line Public Address (LLPA) audio and supporting Digital Voice Announcements (DVA). The compact modules include multiple balanced audio outputs that act as the interface point for amplifiers and speakers. The units are also available with embedded high quality amplifiers.

The NetSpire™ SGUs and MGUs also support an audio input that can be used for recording or monitoring ambient noise levels for automatic gain control. Listening microphones can also be utilised to provide features such as speaker verification, word spotting and voice recognition.

The units connect directly to a 100 Base T Ethernet network, communicate via TCP⁄IP with the Communications Exchange and may be configured remotely. Supplementary supporting modules can be included with the unit in order to provide the PSTN and wireless handset interfaces.
